Just home from an 8-night stay.

We had room 8 which was spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and also drawers, which these days are rare especially in chain hotels!! Bed was comfortable and added points for having a shower head which is height-adjustable.

The landlady, Jo, was really friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for her.

Breakfast was delicious, cooked to perfection, to order.

The guesthouse is in a great location close to North Bay, perfect for events at the Open Air Theatre, but also only a 15 min walk to the town centre.

Amazing host, really cares about her guests and makes sure we’re all comfortable!! Breakfast is perfect and a lovely choice!!

Came as a big party to accommodate 12 for a birthday and anniversary and everything was perfect for us all.

Highly recommend. Very clean, beds are very comfortable and the proprietors are very friendly.Jo and Kev can't do enough for you.Kev cooks a mean breakfast.
Free off street parking,
5 minutes from Peasholme Park and £2.00 each on the bus to whitby ,you can't go wrong.
Third time we have stayed and never dis appionted.
